Anyone watching this? While I have no real confidence in Germany this year, it's pretty cool to finally have a big tournament happening again. Edit: Until Googling it I had no clue this was being held throughout all of Europe.

Ok so there's a picture of him very much seeming to be conscious when they took him off the field.
So minutes after he collapsed and they performed cpr etc.

Yeah you could see him getting cpr for several minutes and they didn't carry him off the field for like 15 minutes.
It didn't look good.
Luckily the other players walled up around him to block filming, but you could see him twitching a few times early on during cpr.
Was very hard to look at.

Looked to me that they defibrillated him at least once.

Eriksen's Dutch agent is doing a telephone interview right now. He just got off the phone with Eriksen's father and apparently he's awake and able to speak.
They also just shared in the stadium that he's stable.

Yeah apparently it was a radio interview, but they aired it on Dutch TV.

I can not believe that they are continuing the match.
Apprently both teams want to resume the match based on the positive news regarding Eriksen's health.
If this is the actual story who am I to judge, but I wonder if and how one can just play ball an hour after experiencing something so traumatic.

They basically played the 1st half, should've just called it a draw and let the teams go.

My thoughts and, frankly, expectation before they announced it as well.
Beneath all of these developments I just really hope Eriksen recovers fully.

Nicked this off your Twitter for some positive vibes.
German TV commentator just said they heard from reliable sources that Eriksen facetimed with his team mates asking them to complete the match.

I was rooting so hard for Denmark to score a goal and make it 1-1, but it wasn't meant to be.
Not that the match itself is important from a sportive point of view in light of what happened, but in a symbolic way it would have been nice.
Still baffled that the rest of the match turned out to be as competitive as it was.
