Thank you all. This was the only combat sports forum/community that was not just mindless haters/fanboys, I really enjoyed my time on this forum. I am really sad to read this, samurai. We are the same age and one border away from country to country, thanks for the time spend with us. You are going to a better place, a place we are all walking to and target from day one in this planet, some just arrive sooner than others, but we all catch up in the end. See ya on the other side

Kobayashi is more man that i will ever be, if they hit me like that i will jump off the ropes and run. She goes down and stands up to continue to chase. What a terminator, Unbelievable.

OH, there is a riot among the audience, caused by polish football fans. It's sad scene, usually typical for my country, they cancelled the last fight event i was in due to mass fights among the fans of two football clubs before the two main events ... I hope it does not go to this before Badr Hari knocks himself out again

Terrible night for Glory as the event was stopped due to fan fights before Badr Hari got knocked out.

My thoughts: Oh boy... Starting with the negatives due to the huge elephant in the room: - Moroccan and Polish hooligans combining forces to ruin an event that was good until that point. This makes Glory look bush league.- No Jamal/Levi. - No conclusion to Badr/Wrzosek 2. - Badr looked horrible. The 'he almost won' excuse only works so many times. He's finished. I feel like he may have been egging on his fans to get out of the fight. - Wrzosek won their first fight and is ranked above Badr, but he walks to the ring first. Talk about pandering to Badr and his fanboys. While they're hardly the only promotion blatantly taking sides, it really makes Glory look bad. - I wanted more fights, beyond even the cancelled part. - I feel like Ben Moh's comeback to Glory comes a little too late. Lighter fighters tend to hit their prime earlier and at 32 with 90+ fights Ben Moh may just be past it. - I don't like when referees count the third knockdown. What's the point? Just call the fight off already. Counting when you know it's done has such an anticlimactic effect. + Wrzosek looked confident and fought a lot more competitively than in his first fight with Badr. That switch knee knockdown was great. + While van Soest/Kobayashi was a one sided showcase for van Soest, going (almost) 5 rounds with arguably the best woman at that weight adds legitimacy to Kobayashi as a Rise champion. She showed great heart and it's a bit of a shame she didn't make the final bell. + Considering what the crowd consisted of, I was positively surprised part of them were cheering for the female fighters even as they both held their kinda lengthy speeches. I guess they left an impression and the first 'Rivals' matchup was a success. + Good comeback victory for Guerric Billet after his draw against Gershon. + Ozcaglayan/Bayrak was a fun, brawly fight. Really ran out of steam as it progressed, though. + Fun prelim fight between Overmeer and van Velzen. While it will complicate the process of selling/buying tickets, Glory should really start doing background checks and/or make fights like this happen on more neutral locations where the pockets of toxic fanboys/hooligans can't reach. Really hope Glory learns from this. If there is still a Glory left..

Interesting to see the fallout from this. Hope it's not too bad.

Glory is entirely to blame for this. It's not like we haven't had similar situations during previous Badr fights. In fact, I can't recall a single Badr fight in Glory where the crowd wasn't a problem.
Throw some trigger happy Polish hooligans in the mix and it's a powder keg waiting to explode. Everybody knows certain fighters tend to attract scum.
Zero background checks, barely any security at the venue and this is the result.
It's truly shameful and if this ends up being the straw that broke the camel's back it would be 100% deserved.
Glory is an amateuristic promotion, ran by people who clearly have no clue what they're doing.
Shit like this hurts the whole sport of kickboxing.
