Jamal training away from Mike and with Khachab whom he may face first if he indeed replaces Mahieddine? Saw some post that he left Mike's and is with SB now. |

It kind of explains why Mike was very vague/evasive when talking about Jamal at Warrior Talk. Not sure how this helps or hurts Jamal's negotiation position with Glory. Must be a bit awkward if he ends up in the GP and immediately has to fight his new teammate who he is now preparing with.

This reeks of bullshit. When Glory first said the tournament came too soon for Jamal, he went on social media posting about how he's in the greatest shape ever and whatnot. Just be straight with people, rather than opening the floodgates for more speculation.
I like Adegbuyi, but he's one of the last guys who deserves to get the spot. He's coming off three straight losses, with two of them being knockouts. I'm not too confident about him getting past Khachab either.
Edit: On the plus side, yay mainstream media coverage..?

Officially, neither. New guy Maurice is an "executive director", but seems to be the defacto CEO now. Robbie is the matchmaker and in general deals with the fighters more.
Been the same "miscommunication" ever since the last CEO left. Scott Rudmann was sometimes called the CEO, then Robbie and now Maurice. Wonder if Maurice just looked at the past carousel of Glory CEO changes and figured he didn't (eventually) want to be axed from that position. Doesn't look as bad if you're just a random director guy who quietly leaves the company after a couple years.

I've just seen that Adegbuyi is in the tourney instead of Jamal. What the hell happened? This is crap, this almost completely killed my anticipation for this tourney  |

Only Jamal and Glory know at this point.
I'd guess a bit earlier already JBS saw the tournament was pretty weak without him in it and asked for a higher purse. Him and Glory have had their ups and downs and Glory probably didn't want to do him any favours paying him more. Now when Mahieddine was removed from the tournament maybe it was too short notice for JBS idk.
Both parties probably could've handled things better. Not a fan of JBS acting all coy around the reasons surrounding this, say what you have to say or be quiet.

Fully agree about Jamal. He should either put up or shut up.
All he's doing is posting these baity comments to rile up his fanboys even more. When Glory initially said Jamal isn't ready for the GP he posted some instagram-fit pictures about him being ready for anything. Then some pics/footage of him training with Said emerged and they implied he isn't anywhere near that shape at all.
At this point Glory and Jamal have both been bullshitting us and we have to take anything they say with a bucket of salt.
