Just got back from a night showing of Captain Marvel. Was a fun flick with Samuel L. Jackson completely stealing the show from Brie Larson. Also, as an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. fan I really dug seeing Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) making an appearance.

This looks like it has a lot of potential. While it is not connected to any other movie and seems to be more of a standalone type of film, I hope there are at least some references to Bruce Wayne/Batman in there.
Ip Man 4! While the second and third part don't quite live up to the outstanding first one they're still very solid films and I hope this last one will give the franchise a strong ending. Would be cool if we'd actually get some scenes of him training Bruce Lee.

Saw Shazam! last weekend and it was great.
It's funny, but DC's Captain Marvel was better than Marvel's.

Not gonna act like I had zero issues with The Last Jedi, but I thought it was a solid film and set up a potentially great finale.
I'm fully expecting this to be another divisive film and don't really have a problem with that.

Ooohhh, that does not look very good.
I may still give it a chance because of SEGA and Jim Carrey, but this is well on his way to join the vast majority of disappointing video game movies.
This would have been better off as an animated film that sticks closer to the source material.

When you take an existing property and start changing stuff for the sake of changing stuff, fans - for once - have a justified reason to be pissed. So good on them for making a step in the right *direction* (  ) and trying to do Sonic some justice. Now, will changing a character design make much of a difference if the movie ends up being terrible? As far as the quality of the movie goes, no. It may put some more butts in seats and give some people a bit more ease of mind, though.

Binged Cobra Kai season 2 last weekend and it was so good!
Happy they announced a 3rd season, but not happy about having to wait another year for it.

I actually liked T5, but none of the Terminator films from part 3 and onward ever came close to the original two films.
