I finished Shogun this week and Fallout the week before and both were absolute bangers.
Sand Land's final episode releases next week and I've really been enjoying that as well.
I've read the manga, but a new big story line was added to the anime.

Finally went to see Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes last night. I was a bit hesitant as to whether they could pull off kickstarting the series with another director and Disney at the helm, because I love this franchise and don't want to see it going to crap.
Long story short, I think they pulled it off. It was very good. They could have shaved off maybe 15-20 minutes to tighten the slower parts a bit, but that's about the only thing I could critique. It's also absolutely stunning to watch and listen to.
I went with a bunch of friends who didn't like it, but honestly I'm not sure what they were expecting.

James Earl Jones, legendary actor known for unmistakable baritone voice, dies at 93While James Earl Jones is an iconic actor who played in a number of classics, the first thing that comes to my mind is his role as coach Couzo in Best of the Best, which is somewhat of a martial arts cult classic. I haven't seen it in years, so it's time to rewatch it. While it's always too soon, I'm glad he lived to the age of 93.  RIP Mr. Jones.
