Free Guy is a surprisingly fun film. I wasn't expecting it to be bad at all, but it still surprised me.

Finished Squid Game last night and really liked it. One of those times where the hype is warranted as far as I'm concerned.
A fun take on survival/battle royal storylines that mixes a bunch of genres with the cinematography giving me some Kubrick vibes. Some of the twists were a bit predictable, but that doesn't matter when it's well executed. Good stuff.
Can't wait to watch season 2 in five years lol.

Finally got to see Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and it has to be one of Marvel's best to date. It doesn't just work as a comic book movie, but as a film, period. Such a delightful amalgamation of Asian mythology. Great DragonBall-esque, Wuxia inspired fight scenes. And no whitewashing! I hope it works for Asian/Chinese communities as well as Black Panther did for the black community.

Seen a bunch of good stuff over the last few weeks.
Last Night in Soho is a good mystery/thriller that I was afraid would be a musical (I don't like musicals), but only the first act was a bit musical-ish. Still a music heavy film overall, but good.
Saw Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was my first cinema visit in two years and that was really good as well. Some awesome cameos which I won't spoil. Really liked Hawkeye as well. That also had some great cameos.
Watched the final season of F is for Family which is a very crude, animated comedy, loosely based on Bill Burr's family life growing up. Bill Burr voices his dad in it. Very fun show overall.
Binged all of Cobra Kai season 4 today, which was great too.
I think that covers most of it.
