Just keeping score: Hesdy was sentenced to prison. He appealed. After a lengthy amount of time his appeal was rejected. Hesdy then made some kind of final, final, absolutely final appeal that, at this moment in time, is still pending. Is that correct?

Hesdy was also scheduled to fight at GLORY 25 because apparently nobody in GLORY reads the news and understood that Gerges could have completely ruined that whole show due to these legal problems, now he's really bitter at GLORY for pulling him off of said show. So he signed with FFC.

LOL. How did they go about even getting him a fight when they already released him over the very same issues just over a year ago?
GLORY: "Whassup, Hesdy. Listen we'll ask no serious questions and you'll tell no serious lies. But can you fight in the first quarter of 2016?"
Hesdy: "Yup."
GLORY: "Good. You're in."
Hesdy: "Er....do you know, kind of, when?"
GLORY: "Nope. See you there. Bye."
GLORY hangs up phone, lights cigar. End scene.

I forget, is Hesdy the one appealing a conviction for smuggling a Semmy Schilt of cocaine, or was that Ashwin Balrak and Hesdy is merely appealing a conviction for smuggling a Melvin Manhoef of cocaine?

Hesdy -> Smuggling Schilt Balrak -> Smuggling Manhoef (the Melvin variant)

Petrosyan fight will aparently be at 71kg. Not a huge difference but I guess there might've been some back and forth on that. AFAIK the Chinese wanted to have him fight Yi Long, but he was weighing around 73kg from what I saw anyways. Maybe that was a dealbreaker and that's why it took so goddamn long to get an opponent and have a fight actually somewhat announced

GLORY 27 CHICAGO ON FEBRUARY 26TH: LEVIN VS MARCUS III www.glorykickboxing.com/en/news/view/953Curious on the details. If it's live on ESPN3 again but delayed on ESPN2 then they failed with the deal in my opinion. I guess something is better than nothing. This again? This division is getting extremely stale. Jacoby, Barrett plus another 2, probably no name weaklings. I wonder what the co-main will be, as of now this could be the only interesting fight for me. Levin vs Marcus 3 will most probably be another clinch fest that i have no interest in seeing.
