And the final: Middleweight World Championship Tournament Final – 70kg<br /> Sittichai Sitsongpeenong (Thailand) def. Enriko Gogokhia (Ukraine) by Decision after an extra round
I reserve the right to watch that again but I thought Gogokhia had it. 30-27, 28-30, 29-29, 30-29, 27-30 -> to an extra round 9-10, 10-10, 9-10, 10-9, 9-10 Sittichai wins I thought Gogokhia won the extra round too.
Stream wasn't the greatest at times so maybe I'll change my mind but that's it at the moment. Feels so odd. Sittichai beat RvR and I had him as my fighter of the year. Now this.

It's like I just wrote the same thing yesterday...oh I did write the same thing yesterday. Kunlun's MMA guy Yang Jianping announced a or at least is a face for a new promotion with monthly events in China. Called Superstar Fight I think. Seems to have MT/KB on too. Interesting to see where it airs. Press conference was in Hunan with some Hunan sports bureau people, usually seems to mean it airs on a channel with the same name Meaning Hunan TV, the biiiiig channel K-1 was on for a while. He is one of the more popular Chinese guys they have so a bit of a loss if he isn't on Kunlun cards anymore. Feb 27 first event, think with Cosmo Alexandre, Singdam Kiatmuu9 and more. There's a new promotion with monthly events starting in China. Called Changbai Mountain Hero I think. Maybe just Changbai Hero since half the promotions are <name of mountain range> Hero/Fight/somesuch. By some Wushu people but in kickboxing rules as far as I understand anyway. Bunch of tournaments in many parts, airs weekly on Jilin TV starting sometime in february. Not sure if I've talked about kickboxing in China to an obnoxious level yet but there's an awful lot of kickboxing in China guys.

I really appreciate you updating everyone on the Chinese kickboxing scene, it's obviously becoming an important source of work for kickboxers internationally, and for me personally it's really difficult to follow and has low visibility on the English-speaking side of the web. Thanks a lot.

Seems a little over million people watched the live WLF stream they had on QQ. Not a horrible comparison if UFC was live on FOX and at the same time on youtube they had a million people watching an official stream of it and it was regionlocked to US only. More people in China ofc but still. ---- Hunan TV (big channel K-1 was on) had some China vs. Japan kickboxing thingy on the 23rd same time as Kunlun/WLF. Yasuhiro Kido etc. No idea what promotion

Black tea cup not such a crazy translation I guess. ~ The events approved by the anhua County Government, in response to the national policy on the development of sports industry, promoting public sports consumption and fitness. www.chinadarktea.com/news/4/18056.htmlwww.bsxtea.com/news_detail/newsId=637.html

WLF will have a 70kg 16-man tournament in parts starting in march. Seems like Souwer, some NZ guy and 2 Chinese on the first one.
They also seem to be sticking with the same format of a live event on first saturday of each month (-january) and then a bunch of other events scattered whenever.
Think in 2016 WLF on track to do 16+ events of just kickboxing in China, +whatever joint events they'll do in other countries (~9 in 2015) and then some MMA events on top of that.

I wonder if Bellator will be working with exclusive contracts for some of the higher profile kickboxers.

Interesting. That is basically a big middlefinger directed at Glory.

I hope they plan on doing something different to Glory, because the idea of taking that talent base and splitting it into two organisations doesn't thrill me
