I would imagine that it's really a sub-division of the UFC. They are promoted on just about every single UFC show at some point during the prelims and they've been going heavy on the gym side of things for a number of years now, and it's telling that Evolve, who are doing a similar kind of thing with gyms in Asia where the UFC are looking trying to break into with their UFC Gym, who have a huge number of world class instructors at their disposal are pretty much banned from being mentioned on UFC broadcasts. That kind of blows the "independent from UFC" argument out of the water. I can't imagine the ownership of the UFC does not profit in some way from the UFC Gym enterprise. Add the fact that McG wanted the gym in return for doing press for 202, which doesn't benefit UFC Gym if you take things at face value, but yet it was they who stepped up and supplied the gym.
Rafael Dos Anjos is an Evolve member, but you would never guess from his UFC fights, all the credit from the commentary teams and promotional vidoes goes to Rafael Cordeiro and Kings MMA.
The relationship between UFC and Conor is very cosy, right down to Conor's manager, who is able to extract very sweet deals for his clients on a regular basis which include Bisping and Weidman, especially when you think back to Dana White storming out of his meeting with Nate Diaz whilst he was trying to put together the rematch. Nate made $2m for the fight and that's small change for the amount the UFC banked, yet management hated the fact they had to shell out that amount to him.

After the fight Rumble said he's ready for DC. DC was in the crowd, stood up and waved his hands like "come and get me".
Some people started to boo at DC and Rumble told them to show some respect to the Champion.

Probably needs a whole lot less when it's untrained people from the crowd. Like 13 seconds for all of them combined.
Streets of Rage style!

Good main event with lots of twists and turns. Close decision, but not mad Why do Asian fighters always lose in the UFC (at least when I watch)? I think there's like one good Korean guy in the FW division (whose name I'm blanking on atm) that's getting a bit of hype. But generally, seems like the talent pool there is drained. Also, I guess Asians in general aren't welcome in the UFC lol

Hopefully someone will alert Dana White to this and maybe, just maybe that c*nt will get smoked out and banned from the UFC, because that twat truly deserves such a thing.

Also, I guess Asians in general aren't welcome in the UFC lol Oh wow, I wasn't sure if I heard correct so I looked it up... yeah I heard it right. That's very sad. What makes me even more sad - even though it's no surprise - are the comments: www.thescore.com/mma/news/1082986-watch-mike-perry-s-corner-men-spout-racist-pre-fight-commentsFunny implication coming from someone spelling the word degree wrong. Something about Mike Perry rubbed me wrong without having seen his pre-fight antics and the BS from his corner. Now I can't wait for him to run into a beast and get pounded.

Damn, I was actually wrong about one judge giving a round a draw in the Conor/Diaz fight. Instead he scored round 3 10-8 for Diaz...
Yeah, I don't know about that...

Damn, I was actually wrong about one judge giving a round a draw in the Conor/Diaz fight. Instead he scored round 3 10-8 for Diaz... Yeah, I don't know about that... These judges are starting to give out 10-8s very liberally. That's fine if judges are consistent, but doesn't seem to be the case. Do you give Diaz a 10-8 for dominating activity even if there's no moments in the round where McGregor is almost about to be pounded out? Shouldn't McGregor get a 10-8 if he dropped Diaz twice? Opening up a can of worms.
