It's like you don't really read my posts.
ONE has HW defined as 102.2 kg – 120.2 kg, so it can be anywhere in that range. I'm expecting Zimmerman to be at least 110kg for this fight. I've seen a Dutch video interview where he did some padwork a few days ago and he looked huge.
102kg's being too much for LHW is, again, according to your own definition of weightclasses. You can disagree with it all you want, but this is how ONE has defined their weightclasses. In fact, most promotions have very different definitions of weightclasses. Just put UFC, Glory, K-1, Bellator and ONE next to each other.

Yes, I know, what did I say wrong? I just think that at +95 or at least +100 the heavyweight starts. Higher is Super Heavyweight imo. I don't disagree with anything, just mentioned. ONE could have defined it as even middleweight if they would have wanted, just that they would have needed heavyweight and super heavyweight probably also.

ONE Championship: Big Bang II - Kickfight Results Jonathan Haggerty def. Taiki Naito by unanimous decision – Muay Thai main event Nieky Holzken def. Elliot Compton by knockout, Round 1, 1:36 – kickboxing bout Rade Opacic def. Errol Zimmerman by TKO, Round 2, 1:35 – kickboxing bout
Zimmerman's fight was a bit frustrating to watch. He was so out of shape and there was obviously a lot of ring rust, but I still felt like he could win that fight. Then that spinning back kick hit and he couldn't recover from it. The ref was right to stop it, because it wouldn't have been pretty. I was surprised Zimmerman could even get up from that.
Solid victory by Opacic.
Also nice quick win by Holzken.

Great point, forgot about that one for a second! That one's happening today and hey look, it's even listed as HW: www.onefc.com/events/big-bang-ii/So there goes the theory about LHW actually being HW. It's probably +102. But 102 is too much for a LHW. Cruiserweight

Cruiserweight would be great if you focus on the bigger guys. But Glory aren't too wise and I don't want to give them ideas. The material is anyway weaker, considering the others are in ONE and other promotions.
Instead of Cruiser I would have brought the Super Heavyweight.
Or Cruiserweight and Heavyweight.
Anyway, two classes of heavyweights basically. Badr Hari is pretty light and are some others like him, or can be signed. Khbabez and Catinas are also in GLORY.
2 belts, and if 2 champions create legacy they can meet.

I think this upcoming one will be the last big weekend of fights this year.
After that we may see the odd event here or there and the Rizin NYE show and that will be it for 2020.

Andrew Tate has a documented history of being a terrible human being including beating up a woman. Can't wait for him to fight someone half decent and getting destroyed.
His biggest win is over (at the time) 43 year old Wendell Roche and that was over 6 years ago, so Tate's career is going absolutely nowhere.

Spike has a Dutch YouTube channel which features a show called 'vechtersbazen' (fighters/boss fighters). They interviewed Hari just a few days ago and to be honest it was pretty good.
Unfortunately the channel only has auto-translated subs, so if you depend on English you can't make much sense of it.
I will do some rough paraphrasing/translations of some of the more interesting stories and comments:
- "I still want to compete for a lot more years, but only if it's at the highest level."
- "When I first fought Leko, he knocked me out with a spinning back kick. After the fight he told me I had a big mouth, but in five years I'll get there. About five months later I got a chance to fight in K-1 and knocked Leko out in the revenge match. All of the big names of K-1 were there, but the only one who came to me after the fight was Ray Sefo. He told me I'm a great talent and was very nice to me. Until now that has stayed with me. I love that man. He approached me when nobody else did. I had a big mouth, but I was basically still a kid."
- "Then a few years later I was scheduled to fight Sefo and I was really nervous before the fight, because he had such dangerous punches. Everyone knows of his fight with Mark Hunt. During the staredown in the ring we kind of looked angry at each other, but since that was fake and we were actually friends it turned into a smile. When the bell rang and I felt Sefo's first punch I knew he left friendship outside the ring and was out to kill me. I had to be very carefull. At a certain point I hit him with a punch that slightly wobbled him and that's when I knew this was the moment to go all out on him. I threw everything I had at him, but when I started to tire he was still standing. I knew that if I gave him a chance to recover I would be in trouble. Due to the fear of his punishment I pushed myself to keep throwing shots even though I was completely spent. Eventually he finally went down, but I don't think I ever had to dig that deep in a fight. The only one that came close to that was Karaev during our second fight."
- "Adegbuyi has done well for himself, but he is a very limited fighter. I think he only started kickboxing when he was 20 years old, so he misses a lot of the fundamentals that fighters who started at a younger age possess. He probably barely had any amateur fights."
- "Adegbuyi is content with being second place. He trains with Rico at a gym where Rico is #1 and he is #2. I would never go to a gym where I'm not #1. Being #2 is cool when you're like 16 or a younger fighter that still has to break through, but not when you've made it. This tells me that Adegbuyi is generally satisfied with being #2. That's why he will be satisfied with not beating me. He'll be fine with losing to me."
- "I'm not underestimating Adegbuyi. I never underestimate my opponents, but I feel we shouldn't overestimate them either. Some fighters are hyped up to be unslayable dragons, when in fact they're tiny baby dragons."
- "I made a name for myself when social media weren't really a thing yet. Now I see fighters who haven't really achieved anything yet putting themselves out there like they're on top of the mountain."
- "Last year I left Mike's Gym for a while, because I felt we weren't really challenging each other anymore. We must always remain critical of each other. There was never any bad blood between us and everything is still fine now as well."
- "I think I really exposed Rico's shortcomings, but unfortunately the fight didn't end in my favor. A year from now I will wear that belt, though."
- "I find it a bit disheartening when I read all the negative comments Glory is getting online. There was a lot at play behind the scenes and a lot of work has been done to make these upcoming events possible."
- However at another point he also said: "I'm not a matchmaker, but I would have seeded the HW tournament differently. I feel like some fighters are being protected by Glory." (implying Levi Rigters and his first round opponent).
- "Thom Harinck is a legendary trainer, but not so great as a person. Or at least, I haven't had the best experience with him as a person. But he did tell me what makes me good is that I have a very good eye."
- "I love Giorgio Petrosyan. He also has just such a good eye".
- (On Faldir Chahbari, who had a good career despite having one blind eye.) "I can't imagine fighting with a handicap. I love people who are able to perform at a high level in sports while dealing with a handicap or physical limitation."
- "Antonio Plazibat is the best trainingspartner to have. He always does his best and is very eager to learn. He doesn't always come up with the smartest solutions, but he doesn't give up. He is a very hard worker. Generally speaking I think that's pretty characteristic for people from Eastern Europe."
- "Not too interested in Cedric Doumbe's fight. It's just that I'm generally not a big fan of these lower weightclasses. I like 85kg and up. These guys simply have more KO power. 85kg is probably my favorite weightclass to watch, because they have KO power while still being very fast."
- "I'm interested in Rico vs. Jamal. From what I'm hearing Jamal lost a lot of weight and looks really good physically. But don't confuse losing weight with improving as a fighter. A lot of people seem to get confused there. They are two very different things."
Probably still missing a few things here and there, but thought that covers some of the more interesting stuff at least.

Ghita is trashing Adegbuyi on social media again. Such a sad, bitter man.
If they fought now Ghita would get his ass kicked.
