The idea that Robbie Timmers was at the k-1 event to gain support for Groenharts financial issue from two years ago is really just asking for us all to suspend disbelief. Im sorry but that whole story is pure bullshit. A blind person could see through that lol.

No, Buakaw asked Robbie for support for his issues. As they are friends and knew about the delayed payment to Groenhart, for which Robbie was there first and foremost. And that last bit is true for certain.

Gotta feel sorry for Kehl as his victory is now tainted and a lot of people wont consider him the champ even though he is. Trying to seperate the facts from all the nonsense and i would summise that something was pre planned here. I wouldnt bother litigation if i was K-1, i would simply no longer have anything to do with Buakaw and look to the future if there is one ( i hope there is ).

If I'm K-1 I just fire Buakaw and claim that he breached his contract (which he did). Be done with it.

my impression of Mike Kim is that, uh, he may not do the obvious level-headed thing

At least he was smart enough not to attend the event last weekend. How stupid would he have looked..?

my impression of Mike Kim is that, uh, he may not do the obvious level-headed thing From what I understand he isn't the sole owner anymore, now there are other parties in play, although he's the primary owner.

I actually spoke with Robbie Timmers a bit last night about the whole thing and he confirmed talking to their new CEO. From what I understand Mr. Kim is still a majority owner, but they brought in new investors. I don't know much about it, to be honest, but Timmers confirmed that he spoke with someone completely new to the scene in his attempts to get his money back before he went onto that press conference thing.

If that's how it is then I hope it really is a new investor/investors with some money and not just a case of a person being invloved before already but being assigned new position recently.
