Even though he lost, I was impressed with Tate's fight against Sahak Parparyan. It was the only time I can ever remember seeing someone bring the long pants kickboxing style to full contact and looking good without fighting someone terrible. And then, nothing...
I'd really love for K-1 to be able turn things around, having an actual focus now rather than these random money pit shows on an uncertain schedule is a great start. Any word on if and how this will be available to people not in China?

I'm guessing Ustream for the live shows and EuroSport when it comes to tape delay?
Maybe they can set something up with AXS TV for the US?
I'm also hoping for integration between K-1 Global and K-1 Japan and that the Live Streams and TV deals cover K-1 Japan as well since niconico isn't really the way to go.

Not a news at this point but two things worth mentioning imo. For a moment I was afraid they will continue with the weird weights and have Yod fight at 72kg or something like that but it looks like he will be fighting at 70kg. And does that mean that Buakaw got the definite boot?

It would make sense to me for Buakaw to be out. However, "sense" has no place in the world of kickboxing so who knows?
Assuming Buakaw is out though, I would like to see Yod against Maximo Suarez and ultimately - if he wins a few fights - against Kehl. I believe Andy Souwer is still tied to K-1 so that's a good rematch to make as well.
Needless to say, K-1 needs a few more big names. Let's say they do 5 or 6 weightclasses. If they manage to get like 4 big names in each weightclass they have something to work with. Add in some international and Chinese up and comers and they can put some nice events together.
Including the Japan event we currently have 4 K-1 events scheduled within a 3 month span. When's the last time that happened?

K-1 Japan shows are still going to be somewhat of a separate entity, I think.
They are going to run one-night tournaments there and they have four shows scheduled this year. I think we can expect NicoNico for the rest of those, sadly.

The late announcements is one of the things I was hoping they wouldn't take after the old K-1. We're two weeks away. Would be nice to know the card already.

Some familiar names in there, though I don't know half the guys fighting.
I'm expecting Zhou Zhi Peng doesn't have the best opponent as he's fighting Kraus later next month.

I'm familiar with most names here though I wouldn't say they are exactly big or anything (for example this Tony Hervey guy is this one I believe and I remember him cause he was the last guy Gomi fought in Japan before going to UFC). So anyway, the card would go like this: Lei Penghui vs Joseph Logan Wang Zhiwei vs Rami Ibrahim Li Yankun vs Justin Greskiewicz Tian Xin vs Antonio Hervey Emei Die (?) vs Sanja Sucevic Kim Dong Soo vs Gabriel Varga Liang Lingyu vs Andrew Tate Zhou Zhi Peng vs Warren Stavone

It baffles me how they can't be bothered to at least put up the card on their site or facebook etc. Even the Chinese one doesn't mention anything. If not for Global Kungfu we still wouldn't know what's up.
