The crowd is really digging it. The venue looks small, or at least is configured for a small crowd, but the place looks pretty packed and alive, which is great.

Another lowkick TKO, this time from Team China.

It looks like they are actually instantly re-airing the whole event from the start.
So for anyone who missed it this is another chance to watch. I must say it was a solid event. I wonder how it did ratings-wise.

Any word from the K-1 camp yet about how the event did?

Yeah I'm really curious about that too, seeing how they re-ran the whole event after it ended.

From what I heard they got between 100 and 150 million viewers on average. Something like a 6.4 rating, although I know nothing about Chinese TV at all.
Nobody seems upset, everyone seems happy.

As far as I can judge those are very good numbers. Doesn't this make it the most-viewed kickboxing event in history?
What will be very interesting to see is what the numbers will do over the next few shows: will they increase, stay about the same or decrease?

From what I heard every three events will be broadcast throughout the entire country on all of those networks, the rest will just be on Hunan TV.
I think the numbers will be relatively the same for a while?

If Hunan TV stays as motivated at promoting and supporting K-1 as they were here they can make those fighters K-1 got quite good draws. I believe they even had something like daily reports from the training camp the Chinese fighters were having before the event.

I like that you still have the usual suspects trying to cut that down.
